Thursday, December 2, 2010

The nominees for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, a.k.a. the biggest night in music, were announced tonight with a live concert in Los Angeles.

Eminem leads this year’s nominees with a whopping 10 nominations, including a few in the major categories like Album of the Year for “Recovery,” and Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna.

However, despite his 10 nods, Eminem can only scoop a maximum of nine trophies - in the Best Rap Song category, Love The Way You Lie and his solo track Not Afraid are both nominated. Eminem was revealed as the frontrunner during Wednesday night's Grammy Nominations Concert in Los Angeles,

A surprise nod comes in the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance section - the late Michael Jackson is nominated for his track This Is It, which faces Michael Buble, Adam Lambert, Bruno Mars and John Mayer in the category.
